WHAT IS OCCULUS

An industry leading, cloud-based deal qualification and deal analysis tool, Occulus uses advanced predictive analytics to analyze complex B2B sales opportunities to identify:  


1.  How well the deal is qualified    

2.  The probability that your clients' sales rep will  win the deal   

3.  The probability that the deal will close on time (by the forecasted close date)  

4.  The optimum path to bring the deal to a successful close on time. 

5.  Critical information that is missing or incomplete

6.  RISK:  of the sales rep losing the deal or having it slip past the close date

7.  How to forecast the deal (Commit, Upside or 'Do Not Forecast')



MORE THAN JUST NUMBERS

  Occulus is a lot more than just probabilities and percentages. 


Occulus translates those numbers into actionable activities that your client’s sales reps can implement to move the deal forward to a successful close.


Occulus will,


1.  Provide a list of any missing or incomplete information that could negatively impact your client’s success, 


2.  Identify and quantify the strengths & weaknesses of your client’s sales campaign,


3.  Identify any inherent risks that your client may not be aware of,

8.  Recommend how your client should forecast the deal (Commit, Upside, Do Not Forecast). 


Additionally, by reviewing the analysis recommendations provided by Occulus you will be able to quickly identify sales skills and sales process issues which need to be addressed, providing you with the perfect base for additional coaching & consulting opportunities and generating ongoing and recurring revenue.

DEAL SCORING & FORECASTING

Occulus also analyzes each deal based on the following 4 attributes;


  • The quality of the deal
  • How well the deal is qualified
  • The chances that your client's sales rep will win the deal
  • The chances that the deal will close by the stated Close Date.


Occulus then assigns a SCORE to each deal and a FORECAST recommendation using the following 4 part scoring system;


  • A:     High to very high quality deals, 3 levels. Forecast as 'Commit'.


  • B:     Medium quality deals, 3 levels. Forecast as 'Upside'.


  • F:     Low quality deals. Consider dropping.  Do not forecast.


  • Not Rated:   Not enough information to accurately score the deal. Do not forecast.


PROSPECTING

Occulus also includes an easy to use and highly efficient prospecting module that allows sales reps to manage and track their prospecting activities.


Sales management can assign prospecting targets and track the outcomes of their sales rep's  prospecting activities, such as;

  1. number of prospecting calls per time period & percent of quota achievement
  2. outcome of prospecting calls 

  • follow up at a later date
  • no follow up
  • transfer to opportunities


Sales management can also assign pre-qualification criteria to prospects, such as meeting the BRANT criteria, the PSS criteria etc, before the sales rep can transfer the prospect to the Opportunity file for analysis.  This ensures that the deals in the Opportunity pipeline meet a minimum quality level.

WHY OCCULUS IS DIFFERENT

The Occulus Predictive Analysis is different from other sales analysis tools available for numerous reasons, some of which are,

  

  • Uniqueness:  Occulus is unique among all other sales analysis tools available, in that it is the only tool that; 

  1. Informs the client how well the deal has been qualified,  
  2. Informs the client the chances of the deal closing on time,  
  3. Uses Predictive Analytics and Conditional Probability to predict whether or not the client will win the deal,  
  4. Is always current and can be updated with new information as the customer situation evolves.

Consequently Occulus has a >90% accuracy in predicting if the deal will be won or lost and if it will close on time or slip.  


  • Forward Looking: Occulus does not use Statistics, meaning it does not look at the past to predict the future the way a CRM and many other sales analysis tools do.


  • Intuitive & Easy to Use:  If you know how to use Google Maps, you know how to use Occulus.  Occulus captures information about the deal in a logical staged approach using a simple online Question & Answer form.
